The Liberty Interiors Makeover That Transformed Lana Wilkinson's Kitchen and Cabana
Celebrity Interior Decorator Nicole Rosenberg has joined forces with Australia’s leading fashion stylist and shoe designer, Lana Wilkinson, to transform her family home.
Having worked with celebrities like Megan Gale, Rebecca Judd, and Ruby Rose, Lana is known for her sense of style and a fine eye for detail. It came as no surprise that when the opportunity transpired for a creative home revival, to seek the talents of Interior Designer Nicole Rosenberg.
Founder and decorator of Liberty Interiors, Nicole discovered inspiration to establish her business after starting a family, curating projects for her children and those of friends.
Her passion for producing stunning and functional spaces, along with her bold colour choices, has evolved from children's bedrooms to every zone within the family home, where she works closely with architects to create inviting spaces for all to adore.
THE KITCHEN
Whilst Lana’s original kitchen was still functional, it was outdated and required a restorative look.
Nicole’s vision was to replace dark obtrusive benchtops with soft grey porcelain stone, adding a layer of organic texture with a contemporary feel, dramatically opening-up the space inviting light to linger throughout open-plan living.
Striking Meir Matte Black tapware was introduced to create a dramatic monochromatic touch. With its sleek curvature and silhouette, the Meir Round Pull Out Kitchen Mixer Tap paired with a Lavello sink blends style and practicality without overpowering the space.
In addition, the selection of Matte Black tapware is cleverly complemented by the incorporation of matte black window frames, echoing a modern feel whilst adding ideal contrast to a monolithic WK Quantum Quartz stone benchtop.
THE CABANA
The ‘Cabana’ took on a creative transformation, resulting in a fun and relaxed space for entertaining with friends and family.
Prior to that, it was an underutilised space, where Lana had placed her home office, establishing her successful shoe empire. Similarly to the kitchen, the cabana was quite dark, outdated, and in need of a refreshing overhaul.
Nicole enlivened this space with a pop of pink paint, offset by crisp white baseboard, stone splashback and matte black tapware.
Featuring a Meir Round Kitchen Mixer Tap for a striking and cohesive accent, the cabana was given a new lease on life; modern yet whimsical.
With statement wall prints of the Amalfi Coast and hanging pendants, this zone has been transformed into a light and bright space perfect for a poolside frolic.
A sense of summer is a constant with entertaining at a moments notice.
A stunning collaboration that was flawlessly executed by a dream team. Epitomising flair and quality design; accessible to everyone in mind.
